From Eclipse to Equinox: A Month of Release and Renewal

March 2026 is one of those months where the sky feels busy but purposeful. There is movement and idrection among the emotion. We move from deep Pisces waters into the first sparks of Aries fire, and somewhere in between we are asked to clear, choose, and recommit.

This is a month of threshold energy. Of endings that open doors. Of quiet inner listening followed by decisive outward motion.

We begin on 3rd of March with a Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo. Eclipses bring culmination and revelation, and this one is grounded in the body, the daily rhythm, the practical structures that support our lives. Virgo asks us to look at what is working and what is not, especially in our routines, health, and service to others.

A sextile to Jupiter in Cancer softens this eclipse, while Jupiter is currently retrograde. There is emotional protection here. Family, home, and inner nourishment act as a buffer while we release what no longer fits. The opposition to Pallas Athena in Pisces reminds us that wisdom is not only strategic and mental. It is also intuitive. We are being asked to merge discernment with compassion, practicality with sensitivity.

On 6th March, Venus enters Aries. The tone shifts quickly. Venus in Aries is direct, honest, and unafraid to show its desire. After the introspection of the eclipse, this transit invites us to name what we want without apology. Relationships become more transparent. Creative energy becomes bolder. There is courage in the heart now.

However, this month, the most potent moment arrives on 10th March when Saturn, Neptune, and Persephone gather in Aries. This is a rare blend of structure, dream, and mythic descent and return. Saturn builds. Neptune dissolves. Persephone moves between worlds. Together in Aries, they invite us to ponder what new life are we are ready to begin after walking through the underworld of recent years? There is a sense of rebirth here, but not a naive one. This is rebirth informed by experience. We are asked to bring form to our visions and courage to our healing.

On 11th March, Vesta moves into Pisces as Jupiter stations direct in Cancer. Vesta in Pisces invites devotion to the sacred within the ordinary. It is a quiet flame, a reminder to tend to spiritual practices, rest, and the inner life. Jupiter turning direct in Cancer brings emotional expansion forward again. What has been incubating within the home and heart begins to move outward with more confidence and support.

Ceres enters Taurus on 15th March, grounding us further. Nourishment becomes tangible. Food, finances, land, and stability come into focus. How do we care for ourselves in ways that are sustainable? How do we cultivate what we want to grow? This is fertile earth energy.

The new moon in Pisces on 19th March offers a soft reset. It forms a supportive sextile to Uranus and Juno, suggesting that new intentions around spiritual connection, relationships, and creative life may come with gentle but meaningful shifts. Something new can be seeded here, especially if it honours both freedom and commitment.

On 21st March, the Sun enters Aries, marking the equinox and the astrological new year. Happy Birthday to all Aries! Mercury stations direct on the same day, conjunct the North Node. This is a turning point. Conversations move forward. Decisions become clearer. There is a sense of alignment between what we are saying and where we are going.

I’m buzzing with excitement with new Aries energy around.  It feels beautifully in tune with the sky. A new voice, a new offering, emerging just as the Sun moves into Aries and Mercury finds its forward path again.

The final stretch of the month continues the theme of relational clarity and embodiment. Juno enters Aquarius on 29th March, bringing a focus on partnership that honours individuality and shared vision. Then on 30th March, Venus moves into Taurus, where she feels at home. After the fiery honesty of Venus in Aries, this is a return to sensuality, steadiness, and grounded affection.

March asks us to move through three phases. First, release and refine. Then, dream and reimagine. Finally, begin and embody.

If February felt like preparation, March feels like ignition.

Take care of your body around the eclipse. Listen to your intuition through the Pisces transits. And when Aries season arrives, do not be afraid to step forward with the version of yourself that has been quietly forming beneath the surface.

There is a new chapter opening. Not a dramatic overnight change, but a steady unfolding. One that asks for courage, care, and devotion in equal measure.
