Do Not Underestimate Self Care

As the planets will say this is why…

How are you feeling? I keep asking this of everyone lately. From loved ones and friends to clients and even in my social/newsletter/blog posts. The eclipse season hit my 6th house Libran stellium and my Ascendant. So when I say I have no idea what I am feeling (and you are astrology savvy), you’ll understand. If not astrologically savvy, it means that I, like many out there incarnated on this planet, am feeling that something has shifted and I’m not who I used to be. I’ve evolved and I realised (especially as a mum of two kids under 6) that I need more self-care, or I will burn out. If I don't take time out regularly, I will not be the best person for my family, friends, or clients, and this is against my life purpose.

Eclipses can be felt in the lead-up and up to a year after the event. The point they occur in your chart becomes like a healed wound or sore point. Anything that passes over it (transiting planets, luminaries, etc) can pick at the scab of that point. Is this a good thing? Absolutely! It is part of our evolution in finding who we are. Of course, not everyone feels like I do, and certainly, no astrologer is immune. If you are feeling a bit out of sorts, take heart that you are not alone. You are evolving!

We are now at the business end of 2023. After Pluto went direct last month we are in the final stages of finishing up our lessons from 2008. This is concerning the part of your chart and planets in Capricorn as well as any associated aspects in the last few degrees of this sign. Listen carefully to what Pluto is telling you. Dot those i’s, cross those t’s. It’s time to tie up those loose ends and lessons.

Once Pluto went direct the other planets got the message in the ethers of the solar system. Saturn will catch the first whiff of the trend on 4th November and go direct in the sign of Pisces. Finally, things will start moving ahead in life. Look at that part of your chart that covers the first seven degrees of Pisces and any planets or aspects that are connected to it. That is where you will have felt the long and hard lessons of the past few months. Well, now they are about to ease off but not without Saturn ensuring you have absorbed what he wants you to learn.

On the 9th, Venus moves into Libra. You may feel like beautifying your home or pampering yourself more. There may be a dress or shirt that you leave for only when you go out. Only to realise that it’s been years since you wore it. You know you look gorgeous in it, so why not wear it now?

On the 11th of November, Mercury moves into Sagittarius. We will feel a need to be more honest than usual. Sagittarians, bless them, are too honest. So honest that there can be no filter. This can be refreshing or frustrating for the recipient of the Sagittarian wisdom. With this placement, it is a good time to get to the crux of the situation and discuss what is going on. You may find truths coming from the mouths of babes but let’s first think before we speak. We can also find that it will bring a refreshing air of honesty to conversations.

The New Moon in Scorpio on the 13th is not a walk in the park. This New Moon opposes Uranus and is conjunct (in a wide stellium) with Mars and the asteroid Ceres. It is a supercharged New Moon that can be intense and electric. However, it is also a phase where we will experience new beginnings in all types of relationships. Connecting with other people for the sake of it may no longer be sustainable. It is time to find your tribe if you haven't already. It is time to find your kindred spirits.

Then we have the Sun (on the 23rd), Mars (on the 25th), and Ceres (on the 26th) copy Mercury’s lead and move into the sign of Sagittarius. They all do this before the Full Moon in Gemini on 27th November. We may feel inspired to get out and interact with the world. The Gemini Full Moon will be supportive yet watch for any illusions or things that sound too good to be true. You may be getting those final lessons of learning to trust intuitive hits in your gut. Or you may revisit things or events or people who deceived or lied to you in the past. The anger can build in the injustice of it but remember everything happens for a reason. You did the best you could do with what you knew then. Now you know more. It is time to take a deep breath and be kind to yourself.

The month ends as we approach Mercury’s shadow period before December. At a glance, not much is happening this month. Yet when we look deeper, the stars remind us that we have a lot of inner work to do on ourselves before the year is out. So get your diary out, and block out self-care time. Do the work so you take the first steps to being your best self energetically, for you, your loved ones, and those you are destined to guide in this lifetime.

Until next month!

Astrological blessings,

Georgina xxx
